I finally have a free minute to give everyone an update on the trip to the Chicago Auto Show last weekend. The trip was exciting for Mason, who is a huge car fan, expecially the exotics!. . . and a lot of fun for Scott and me ~ particularly because Scott will be trading cars within a couple of months. No better place to get a feel for the market than the Auto Show. We have decided on a Toyota Sequoia. It is surprisingly roomy. It falls somewhere, in size, between a Tahoe and a full size Suburban. It seats 8 and has plenty of leg room in the back 2 rows. The ole Volvo SUV was getting too tight for us, especially for our growing boy, with those big feet! Mason hasn't decided for sure, but he is leaning towards the Lamborghini Montelongo.
The highlight of the day, at the Auto Show, was getting to see, Matt, Laura, little Anna and Laura's Dad, Ken. They were there shopping for a mini-van, just kidding, they made it clear they are not ready for that move yet. Just wait, another kid or two and they will make the leap!
