Hangin' with the Chelf Clan

Our trip to Colorado was particularly enjoyable because the first and last nights of our stay were spent with the Chelfs, who live in Denver. They have been dear friends for over 20 years. Mary and I roomed together in our single days ~ strait out of college. Her husband Scott was a good friend of mine, back in our 20's. . . then they got married and had 3 wonderful kids. They are truly more like family than friends. We stayed with them our first night in CO and then they came to the mountains, our first night in Breckenridge, and stayed with us for 1 night. After our week long stay in the mountains with our family, we spent the last night with them again, before flying home. We had our annual bowling tournament. The Roberts won this year! First time in 3 years! Mary was out, on the bench, with a lame shoulder. We enjoyed every minute of our time spent with them and look forward to our next time together.

The kids all enjoy being together. They all played a board game the night we were in Breck., for a couple of hours. It's our new favorite game, Quelf. They were all belly laughing!

The place we rented in Breckenridge had a great hot tub on the back deck. We all enjoyed it - but the six kids, especially, enjoyed it!

It's great to see your family with my family, the Chelfs, having a great time together. Maybe one day Doris and I will meet your family. Ruth
