Happy 80th Bob-Bob!

Scott's Dad turned 80 yesterday, Dec. 29. The Roberts' crew gathered together to celebrate this past Sunday. Maggie, almost completely on her own, decorated Bob-bob's B-day cake. It was a very special treat! On these special days, we really miss Scott's Mom, Helen, who has been gone for a little over 2 years now. We are thrilled that Bob has Bonnie, as a special companion. Her husband passed away just a year or two before Helen. Bonnie has helped fill that void in all of our lives. We also missed Chris (Scott's nephew) and his new wife Abby being there to celebrate with us. They are living in New Orleans and could not get home for Christmas this year.

We all had a great time of celebrating Bob's 80 years. Scott took his Dad on a goose hunt today. They, along with about 12 others, went up last night. All the happy hunters had dinner together last night, and I'm sure stayed up until the middle of the night telling hunting stories. They will all be like little girls after a slumber party, rattling off stories and dog tired when they return this evening. Some of this crew, like Scott, have been hunting together since they were 12 yrs. old.!
