Last Sunday night we accepted an invitation from Scott's cousins, Karyn & Mike Hortin & the boys to visit the farm and see the 60-70 new "kids". We had a ball! They introduced us to kitties that were 2-3 weeks old, a new spring calf and close to 70 baby goats (kids), some just 1 day old. We each were able to hold the cute little critters. Even Mommy wanted to keep a couple ~ just what we need with our schedule! Karyn and Mike have raised hogs in the past - - we like the goats better. The baby pigs were cute, but very stinky! Thanks Hortin clan for your hospitality!

OH GOSH I WISH we could have been there! But I definitely would have taken a "kid" home and that would be bad...haha
Hi Kim, Kate gave me your Blog page to see the goat pictures- ahhh how cute. We too have goats, some came from Mike. Brooke shows them at the fair. she is getting a new one from Mike this weekend- we are expecting babies in June (goats that is) and a new baby (from Kari) in sept !!
