Meet the "Informant"

Well, today the girls and I headed downtown to see if we could catch a glimpse of the taping of the movie "The Informant". The crew, including Matt Damon, has been in town for over 2 weeks filming. I have friends who have chased them around for hours hoping to get a brief shot with him. Life at the Roberts' household is a bit too busy for that routine. So. . . with the input of a friend who manages the sales group at the old Holiday Inn in Decatur (a place for many of the crew to stay as well as a set for some of the filming). We got a tip that they will soon (within 24-48 hrs.)be leaving Decatur. I had to act quickly - I put down my gardening trowel and grabbed Allie and Mags. and headed downtown to the taping site. We were not able to see any of the taping, but did get to meet Matt Damon. The girls got autographs and a picture with him. We got to tell Matt that their Daddy, Scott, was the REAL informant, finding and then informing the FBI that their star witness was a thief and had packed millions away in foreign bank accounts. I don't think Scott's leading role is mentioned in the movie - but we all know he was the real star and there would be no story to tell if he hadn't made his little discovery. Way to go Daddy!
